my tiny Walter! 
December 17th around 10:30 in the morning, we were at the pet store buying fish to give away as prizes for the birthday party games..And then we saw about 5 tiny turtles in a dry aquarium. 180 pesos each, says the man. He tells me, go pick out the one you like best and we’ll take him home. (Wow!) I picked out the quickest and most active little one. (like me! hehe..Awarded Most Active in nursery school..But that’s another story.) He sure looked like a “Walter” to me.
Walter lives in a plastic tub. He likes live fish! He’s so tiny but he knows how to beg for food already. Sometimes he gets all panicky when he doesn’t recognize us, going zoom-zoom around the tub. I think he’s grown a bit, but everyone says otherwise. (hehe..he eats so much..But he remains ever so tiny..)
I know this is a terrible photo. (I’ll take better photos in time, patience please.) But he’s cute, if I can only take good shots.
It’s a pain to clean his tub (it’s an every other day chore), but it’s fun to watch him swim around. 
And if he starts laying eggs in the next 4-5 years, she will still be named Walter.

if i were you i would buy another turtle and have a wedding . so walter would not be lonely all her or his life . i am tring to get my dad to get me anouther turtle .

I can’t Ashlynn. i read an article that said turtles don’t like sharing their space with another turtle. When they get older, they will fight. I let Walter walk around the apartment. And I keep him/her company.
