Neurotic
It icks me to touch public bathrooms, bus, train, handrails, door handles, underside of my shoe, and a couple other things in the wide wild world. And yet it is inevitable. I always end up touching one or the other. Which leads me to neurotically disinfecting my hands with seventy percent isopropyl alcohol. Half the time I wonder if the alcohol really is good enough. I have wet and dry wipes in my bag. And I use my foot to flush in a public toilet. It’s probably stupid but I can’t help myself. But I have not been icked by a regulator - no matter where it’s been, I will put it in my mouth to check if I can breathe air from the tank.

I so hear you! I used to hate the summer because I had no excuse to wear gloves on the tube and that meant I had to actually touch the handrails… and then I look at some of the cheeses I eat and think “what’s the difference”
